Will the wireless charger work with my phone?
Possibly. The charging spot uses the Qi standard, so your phone must support Qi charging, and the lamp must be plugged in. Owners are split: some find it charges perfectly, an iPhone 12 among the phones that work, while others cannot get it to charge at all. The manual lists which phone models are supported, so check that list when it arrives.
My phone will not charge on it. What should I check?
First make sure the lamp is plugged into an outlet, as charging does not work on battery power. Then center the phone on the charging spot and try it without a thick case. Only the cable comes in the box, and the manual may call for a fast-charging wall adapter, so a weak adapter may be the problem. If it still will not charge, your phone may not be one of the supported models.
Is the light bright enough to read by?
It is designed as a soft bedside light more than a desk lamp. It has four settings, 0, 30, 70 and 100 percent, and a warm 2700K white. Buyers are happy with the brightness for bedside use and as a gentle second light in a room, but it is not meant to replace a proper reading or task lamp.
Can I use it in the bathroom or kitchen?
Keep it away from water. It is not water resistant, so bathrooms and anywhere near a sink are out. EZVALO suggests it for kitchens and living rooms as well as bedrooms, which is fine on a dry counter away from splashes.
How good is the speaker?
Good for its size and purpose. It uses Bluetooth 5.0 with 2.0 stereo sound and a range EZVALO puts at up to 33 feet, and sound quality is one of its strengths. Owners find the volume suits a bedroom or a small space rather than filling a large room.
Is it a good gift?
Yes, it is one of its strongest points. It comes in a gift box, buyers rate its looks highly, and it makes a popular present for students, parents and family members, with several owners buying more after using their own.
